A Guide to Playing the Mythos Card Game
This book contains miscellaneous information about the Mythos collectible card game. It contains: the rules of the game, a FAQ, a short play and deck construction guide, a sort of designer's notes on the game, background information on selected cards, rules for solitaire play and creating your own adventures, a complete spoiler list for the limited edition of the game and lists of card attributes and requirements for completing adventures.

As a collector and player of the game, I found the designer's notes on the history of the game and the design philosophy to be especially interesting. Also useful to me are the short notes on the background of selected cards and the rules for creating and scoring your own adventures. The pictures of the selected cards are black & white with a paragraph of background info. Buyers should also note that there is an updated version of the rules of the game at the Chaosium website.

Ascent of Plebes: Cartoon Compendium of Higher Learning
Published in Paperback by LPC (August, 1990)
Authors: L T Horton and Scott Dikkers
Average review score:

Plebes is hilarious!
Plebes is a refreashing cartoon collection! Most of todays cartoons are pretty much the same: they lack imagination, but Plebes provides lots of laughes. Probably one of the best cartoon collections I have ever read. It's a shame the author did not release more of these books. It is mainly college-based humor, and some of the material is not meant for the faint at heart

Assleville
This book will have you laughing aloud at characters who couldn't possibly exist in the real world--or COULD they?
"Truth is stranger than fiction," but I came away thinking that this fiction felt a lot like truth. I was absorbed in the recognition of a small town like Assleville, where people are related in the oddest of ways, nepotism flows like water and electricity, and high school football games can influence global warming. Assleville reminds me of Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, and Carl Hiaasen all at once. Enjoy!

:)
This is the first book in the Guiness Gang series. Elizabeth Guiness grew up in a small town with a wonderful family. She loves her parents and her brothers more than anything in the world. Liz even managed to marry her childhood sweetheart and than watch while he was gunned down in front of her. Now Liz wants to make a fresh start as a nanny and she believes the best way to do that is far away from her hometown. Her new charge is a precious six-year-old boy genius. Andrew has been through three nanny's already and is known for quoting morbid statistics twenty-four hours a day. Liz knows that her job will not be easy, but she is determined to try. Making her work even more difficult is Andrew's brilliant gorgeous father.

Richard Keaton may be the tenth smartest person in the world, but when it comes to his personal emotions he is completely shut down. Richard has been betrayed by almost everyone in his life. The last was his wife who cheated on him with almost every man within reach. She was a cruel and hateful woman who destroyed any faith he had in other human beings. When she was murdered, the entire town turned against him and his in-laws took his son from him. Now five years later he was getting Andrew back. Nevertheless, Richard feels that it is in everyone's best interest if he keeps his distance from Andrew. However, keeping his distance seems impossible since Liz is determined to bring them together.

Richard and Liz generate sparks just by being in a room together. The love story between Richard and Liz is only one element of this book. Andrew himself generates enough excitement to keep the reader turning pages. This cute serious six-year-old wears suits and reads the Almanac for pleasure. Last but not least is the element of danger that is present through most of the book. This is a truly great book that I would highly recommend.

Audreena the Birthday Fairy
Published in Hardcover by Creative Publishing International (01 January, 2001)
Authors: Scott Sample, Stephanie Sample, and Audrey Haag
Average review score:

A sweet and touching story
This was a charming story, beginning with the need to find ones special purpose in life and emphasizing the doubts we all can have regarding self-worth. Especially because this book is geared towards very small children, it was refreshing to find no violence or aggression, but just a soft, magical, sweet plot, where there is a happy ending for all characters in the story. This story actually comes full circle, with each character ultimately helping in fulfilling each other's dreams. The illustrations are, themselves, magical and beautifully done.

A fun story for kids of all ages!
This is a fun story involving wonderful characters who create a mechanical horse and wind up in all sorts of trouble when they enter it in an actual horse race! The illustrations are incredibly creative too, and makes it even more entertaining when reading the story. This book is very enjoyable! A definite bed-time story for the family bookshelf! Your kids will want to read it again and again!

Finally, a clear explanation of auto insurance!
I have just completed reading this book and for the first time I know what coverage I have and what type of protection it provides! I took out my insurance policy and went over it step by step. What an eye opener this was. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in knowing the truth. These guys really seem to be interested in helping others to understand their auto insurance. Not only is it simple to read, it was fun!

Thumbs up!!
This book is my bible. It is perfection itself. It is the most up to date resource of its kind, and of any kind. The author is a god. Please call him Zeus, all of his friends do. I do not know the author, but he is one of the voices in my head. If you read the book backwards, you will find inner peace. Buy it
